Why is gender equality concerned? Women account for 51% Vietnamese population, 26 % of those are heads of household. In coastal areas, women participate in many activities such as sea products breeding (34%), sea products processing (82%), sea product trading (66%), sea product exploiting (4%). Working labor of women is important and contributes to the socio-economic development of the country.
